After I finished working down in Eastbourne and before I flew out to Kuala Lumpur I was lucky enough to visit Wimbledon and watch the tennis on Centre Court. I have only been to Wimbledon once before, which was on Finals Day in 2008 - the year of the epic final between Roger Federer and Raphael Nadal. We weren't able to get onto Centre Court but watching the final out side of the Hill was fantastic. The atmosphere and support for both players was pretty cool.
This time around I visited Wimbledon on the second day so there were hordes of people walking round the grounds and matches being played on every court. Having watched Wimbledon every year it was pretty special being there with so much to see.
I've always wanted a shot of Centre Court relatively empty so after we arrived in the morning we went straight inside. I wish I had taken a couple of shots to stich together and create a panorama but I still enjoy this photo. I've used Silver Effects Pro to convert it into black & white.
