I've always said the only place I would live in the UK would be London. This is due to a couple of reasons - (1) It's a city that hosts huge numbers of people, which I prefer, (2) nothing closes early so there's something to do at all hours and (3) the history of London is remarkable with all the old architecture, which is great to look at and photograph.

Whenever I'm back in the UK I stay in my parents home Cambridge. On a day trip down to London to visit an school friend, who I hadn't seen in years, I managed to organise some free time and took a photo walk up and around the Thames.

This photo was taken moments before the clouds roared in overhead and started to rain. The London Street Eye photo was taken only 5 minutes after this photo but the atmosphere is completely different. I know it's a photo everyone has taken but I like it because in this instance I took it!
