Along with landscape and urban cityscapes I really enjoy street photography - trying to catch people unaware and in the moment. When taking street photo's I try to isolate the subject in their surroundings, such as within a crowd of people or hidden within their products, which they're trying to sell. It's also quite fun to look for interactions and contradictions between people and the environment.
For today I went back into the archives and found this cool photo taken at Roland Garros in the rain. As mentioned in the previous post Hidden Agenda rain can open up some different opportunities for shooting.
Having used a slower shutter speed to indicate the movement of the ball boy running past the women really stands out. I normally find that Black & White create the best street photos however, having said that I found it very difficult to chose between this one and the black & white version. In this case I decided to go against my norm and post the colour version
