Mexico is a fairly religious country, which as you walk around the place is plain to see. There are plenty of churches, cathedrals and everyone had a cross hanging around their neck. On our walk around Mexico City we visited the main cathedral in next to the city square - Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral. It was really impressive.

However, I struggled to capture the grandeur and magnificence of the place. It was so vast and the light varied so much that I really found it difficult to take photos. I was very much at the start of my photographic journey back then and wish I had heard of HDR - looking back it was a perfect location.

There was plenty of construction work going on in Mexico City and so I enjoyed seeing this Hidden Cross amidst a collapsed building. I really liked the contrast.
