As I mentioned I've been looking at additional ways to market my photos other than sharing a new photo every day (least that's what I'm trying to do). One way I have since thought of is greeting or thank you cards. Many people have a small stack at home or work ready and wating incase a quick note is needed to be sent. I got a whole bunch produced by www.moo.com. The feedback so far has indicated that the simple generic photos work best.
With that in mind today's photo is a very simple composition and is a personal favourite. I took this as I was walking around China Town in Singapore. There were many of these lanterns hanging between buildings and I spent a fair bit of time working out the best way to capture then.
I haven't done anything to the sky - the heavens soon opened after I took this photo - and I think the colour contrast works really well. Apparently this is one of the more popular greeting cards too. You too can send this photo as a greeting card if you click on the link below. Use 9F9271 and get a 10% discount.
