Today I though it was about time to introduce a new location so without further adieu I give you Mexico City. After we had finished our road trip around California - stopping in at San Francisco, Yosemite, Las Vagas & the Hoover Damn - we drove back to our starting point. None of us felt the need to stay and explore Las Angeles so instead we hoped on a plane and headed for Mexico.
I'd never been to Mexico before so I was really looking forward to the adventure. We flew knowing we had no hotel booked at the other end, something I was slightly wary of but the other two didn't seem all to fussed - they had chosen an area of town where they felt was our best bet to finding a place to stay.
After arriving at the desired location we managed to find a hotel on our second attempt - easy - and hit the hay. On the second day in Mexico City we headed out to Teotihuacan - the pyramids of Mexico. It was a rather awesome sight to look at as they were huge however, disappointingly, so was the number of tourists. Still, they added a sense of scale to the pyramids.
I'll be adding photos from Mexico City in the weeks to come. I hope you like them
